Win Streak Jumps to Six with Dominating Performance

SURPRISE, ARIZ. - The OUAZ men's tennis team continued its hot start to the season on Saturday, cruising past Hope International, 7-0. The dual win is the sixth straight for the team, and the first time the program has started 2-0 in conference play.

Michael Loyd/Austin Todd and Andres Reyes/Grzegorz Rudnicki each recorded a 6-0 victory in their doubles matches, giving OUAZ the 1-0 dual lead. The Spirit continued its momentum into the singles matches, where no contest went past two sets.

OUAZ picked up two of the singles points due to forfeit, and only one Royals player won more than three points in a set. It is the third time during the six-dual win streak that the Spirit have taken every point from an opponent.

The Spirit will look to extend its hot start when they take on Westmont on February 26. The start time of the dual from Santa Barbara, Calif. is still to be determined.
