OUAZ (5-1) scored nine straight points midway through the first half to build an 18-8 lead. That scoring run would extend to 28-11 over the final 11:58 of the half to give the Spirit a 37-19 lead at intermission.

Benedictine Mesa (1-6) could only get as close as 13 at any point in the second half as OUAZ made 15 of 25 shots in the final 20 minutes.
