SURPRISE, ARIZ. – The OUAZ women's tennis team did not get a reprieve in the schedule as they re-entered conference play on Friday afternoon. 14th-ranked Westmont came to Surprise, the second consecutive ranked team the Spirit have faced, and it ended in similar fashion for the Spirit.

The Spirit were unable to win a match point as they had a hard time getting anything going. Katie Fyall and Stevie Wenzel were able to get two points in their doubles match, but were unable to get any more. Fyall was the only person to win a point for OUAZ in any singles matches, as everyone else was swept in straight sets.

OUAZ will have a chance to pick up its first conference win of the year when they host Marymount California on Saturday afternoon. All the action from the Surprise Tennis Facility is scheduled for 1pm AZ Time.
