It was a rough go for the OUAZ women's tennis team in its dual last Friday, and it did not change as they opened conference play. They traveled to Glendale to take on Arizona Christian, and were defeated 6-0.

The Spirit were able to have two separate players win a game Tuesday afternoon, as Mitzy Rangel and Katie Fyall lost at set 6-1 at some point. It was the first two times in which an OUAZ player won a game.

OUAZ will have two chances for its first conference win this weekend in Southern California. They travel to Santee to take on San Diego Christian on Friday, and head north to Fullerton to face Hope International on Saturday.
