The Spirit head to the East Valley to take on Benedictine-Mesa on Thursday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30.

AGAINST THE OPPOSITION
OUAZ is 1-1-1 all-time against Benedictine Mesa. In 2017, the Spirit went 0-1-1 against the Redhawks. Fortunes changed in 2018 however, as OUAZ picked up a 3-0 win over Benedictine Mesa on September 13.

SPIRIT NOTES
OUAZ has 15 different goal scorers this season, and Sarah Inafuku leads the team with five.

Saipress Jones is tied for tenth in the NAIA with two game-winning goals.

The team ranks in the top ten in goals, assists, and shutouts in the NAIA.

This is the second consecutive season the Spirit have started 5-2 in its first seven games. The team's eight game last season was the 3-0 win over Benedictine Mesa.

UP NEXT
The Spirit will wrap up their non-conference schedule as when they travel to California next Thursday and Saturday. Thursday will see OUAZ in Aliso Viejo to take on Soka, then the Spirt head over to Lancaster to face Antelope Valley Saturday.
