The OUAZ Women's Soccer team opened up their 2018 season with a loss to Corban University. The Spirit got another shot at the Warriors this season, but unfortunately found a similar result.

OUAZ lost their first game of the season Sunday afternoon, falling to Corban 4-2 in Salem, Ore. The Spirit went into halftime up 2-0 on goals from Saipress Jones and Chandler Schioppi, but the Warriors came out to put up four unanswered tallies in the second half.

Sarah Inafuku tallied an assist, stretching her point streak to four straight games. Goalkeeper Krysten Caballero made four saves in the loss.

The Spirit take the field again on Thursday, September 5 when they take on Embry-Riddle (Ariz.). Kickoff from Spirit Field is scheduled for 5:30pm.
