PEORIA, Ariz. – The OUAZ men's and women's golf teams will host their inaugural tournament benefiting OUAZ golf student-athletes on Monday, September 10 at Quintero Golf Club. The tournament will begin at 8:00 am with a shotgun start.
All family, friends, and supporters of OUAZ golf are invited to enter and play. The entry fee of $150 per player and $600 per team includes a gift bag, prizes, lunch, a cart and 18 holes at Arizona's #1 ranked public golf course according to Golf Digest and Golf Weekly (2017).
Supporters also have the option to sponsor a hole for $100 if they are unable to play or attend. All proceeds will directly support the OUAZ golf programs.
"We appreciate the support shown for OUAZ Golf," said Head Coach
Clayton Sikorski. He continued, "We have a great schedule set up and 100% of the proceeds goes directly to the kids. It is very important to me as a coach to give the kids the best experience possible. Fundraising events like this scramble will allow us to achieve those goals and support the hard work our athletes put in every day."
