PHOENIX, Arix. - The Ottawa University Arizona men's tennis team fell on Friday evening to San Diego Christian College by a final of 5-3 at the Phoenix Tennis Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Spirit returned to competition on Friday evening against a tough San Diego Christian College squad. OUAZÂ opened play by falling in all three doubles matches; putting the team in a early 3-0 hole.
OUAZÂ responded winning #4, #5, and #6 singles. However OUAZ fell in #1 and #3 singles; giving the Hawks the victory. Due to time constraints, the #2 singles match was not finished and SDCC claimed the 5-3 victory.
The Spirit return to action Saturday morning in Phoenix against Lewis-Clark State College.
