PRESCOTT, Ariz. - The Ottawa University Arizona softball team fell to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University this afternoon. The final score was 10-2.
This loss sets the Spirits record at 7-31.

In the first and second inning both teams worked hard to score, but both teams also played good defense leaving runners on base. Both the Spirit and the Eagles scored in the third. For OUAZ,
Emily Stebbins single RBI gave
KaeLynn Miller the run in the third. The Spirit would score again in the fifth with an RBI single from
Amanda Almond.

The Spirit's defense held through the third, making foundational plays to keep the Eagles at bay. A two run homer in the third tipped the tables in the Eagles favor.

The Eagles would score at least two runs in each inning to end the game in six.

Game two was canceled due to the lights not properly functioning at the ERAU Softball field.

The Spirit play next at San Diego Christian College on April 6
th in a doubleheader.
