Timm Rosenbach enters his first season with Ottawa University Arizona Football in 2026 as the program’s Offensive Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach, bringing more than 40 years of football experience as a player, coach, and evaluator at the collegiate and professional levels.
Rosenbach joins OUAZ following his tenure at Cal Poly, where he served as Offensive Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach through the 2025 season. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade coaching across the FCS landscape, including impactful roles at UNLV and within the Big Sky Conference at Montana. At Montana, he worked as a Senior Offensive Analyst and Director of High School Relations, helping support a program that consistently ranked among the top 15 in the FCS.
A former Heisman Trophy candidate quarterback at Washington State, Rosenbach finished seventh in the 1988 Heisman voting after setting multiple single-season school records, including total offense (3,422 yards), passing yards (3,097), and touchdown passes (24). He earned All-America honorable mention honors and went on to play in the NFL before transitioning into coaching.
Rosenbach began his coaching career in 1999 as a quarterbacks coach at NAIA St. Ambrose. He later held assistant and coordinator roles at Eastern Washington, New Mexico State, Washington State, UNLV, and Montana, developing a reputation for offensive innovation and quarterback development. At Eastern Washington (2001–2002), he coordinated one of the top offenses in the FCS, leading the nation in total offense in 2001. At UNLV, he helped guide the program to a bowl appearance and engineered one of the most productive offenses in school history.
As head coach at Adams State (2015–2017), Rosenbach led one of the most remarkable comebacks in NCAA history, overcoming a 42–6 second-quarter deficit to win 52–51 in double overtime.
A Washington State graduate with a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Rosenbach brings extensive experience in offensive system design, player development, and recruiting. He has two daughters and joins OUAZ committed to building a dynamic and competitive offensive identity for the Spirit program.
