Coach Marino Lee, a Scottsdale, AZ native, has dedicated over a decade to the growth and development of flag football. A proud alumnus of Saguaro High School, Coach Lee has been involved in the sport for 11 years, beginning as a coach and later expanding his passion into building his own league. In 2021, he founded a league with 175 kids, and under his leadership, it has grown to over 800 participants, demonstrating his commitment to fostering youth involvement in flag football.
Coach Lee has coached competitive teams at various levels, with his teams excelling at state, regional, national, and even world competitions. His leadership and coaching have led teams to significant accomplishments, including a recent trip to Florida, where one of his teams qualified for the prestigious AAU Junior Olympics.
Throughout his career, Coach Lee has earned multiple championships, cementing his reputation as a highly successful coach. His dedication to the sport has also led to him being named the first-ever Junior Class coach for "She is a Baller," an innovative girls' flag football competition taking place at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA. This event brings together the best female flag football athletes from across the United States.
Coach Lee’s influence extends beyond coaching – he is a trailblazer in the world of youth flag football, and his passion for the sport continues to inspire players and fellow coaches alike.
