Austin Todd enters his first season as the Head Coach of OUAZ Tennis.
In his previous role as the OUAZ Assistant Tennis Coach (2023-2025), he helped lead the women’s program to their first NAIA Nationals appearance, ITA Fall Championship, and GSAC conference championship in program history. He has also coached a number of All-GSAC and nationally ranked players.
As a player at OUAZ (2017-2022), he became the program’s all-time leader in match wins for both singles and doubles, achieving a top-50 national ranking in singles and a top-25 national ranking in doubles within the NAIA. In high school, he won the 2017 AIA State Doubles Championship while representing Millennium High School and earned third place finishes in the same event in 2016 and 2015, along with being named the 2017 Section Player of the Year.
Outside of college tennis, Todd is a PTR certified tennis instructor who has worked at places such as The Wigwam, Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex, and Camelback Village. He has worked with more than 50 AIA high school state qualifiers and helped numerous junior players earn college tennis scholarships to the NCAA and NAIA. He has coached USTA, WITL, and ATA league teams across the greater Phoenix area, including multiple teams that have advanced to sectionals and nationals, as well as being selected to coach USTA national-level clinics. His coaching philosophy is centered on long-term player development, strong fundamentals, and creating an environment that is both challenging and enjoyable to help every player reach their goals.
Todd is a Goodyear, Arizona native who graduated from Millennium High School. He holds a B.A. in Communications and an MBA in Leadership Development from OUAZ.
