Freshman (2015-16): Appeared in 17 games with one start … ended the season averaging 2.0 points per game … shot 22.9 percent from the field and was 3 of 11 from beyond the arc … finished with 27 assists, 16 rebounds, and nine steals … scored a season-best nine points against Southern (3/11) … had multiple assists in a game nine times and twice posted four assists in a game.

Parents are Rick and JaeDene Carey … has one sister, Brianna … born on September 12 … listed hobbies as basketball, shoes, and clothes … said his plans for the future are to play professionally overseas and become a coach. He also hopes to become a mentor to youth and inspire others with his story.
