Abigail Landrum enters her second season as assistant coach for the OUAZ Cheer & Dance teams in 2017-18. Prior to her arrival at OUAZ, Landrum did her undergrad work at St. Ambrose University in Iowa. Abigail was captain for two of her three years and she also worked for the Cheerleading Stunt Academy and Elite Cheer Force prior to moving to Arizona.
Some of Abigail’s accomplishments at St. Ambrose include: being named an NAIA Champion of Character, as well as being a Scholar Athlete. As a Fighting Bee, Abigail and her competitive cheerleading team were talented enough to compete in the National Championships every year.
Abigail graduated in May 2017 with a degree in Psychology and a pair of minors in both Leadership and Public Relations. Abigail became interested in coaching, because of the huge impacts her coaches made on her not only as an athlete, but as a person as well. Abigail hopes to see all of the athletes that she coaches strive to be their best self each and every day and live a life of significance.
