Lompoc, Calif.-- The Ottawa University Arizona men's golf team captured its third consecutive GSAC Championship, finishing first at La Purisima Golf Course in Lompoc, California. The Spirit posted a three-round total of 909 (+45) to top the six-team field and secure the conference title.
Tytan Birchell led the way for OUAZ with a runner-up finish, tying for second overall at 225 (+9). Nick Erickson followed with a strong performance, tying for fifth at 227 (+11), while Grant Greazel placed tied for ninth with a score of 230 (+14). Hayden Hah added a tie for 12th at 231 (+15), and Liam Toole rounded out the lineup with a tie for 17th at 234 (+18).
The team's depth and consistency across all five scorers proved key in securing the championship, marking the program's third straight GSAC title.
With the conference championship secured, OUAZ will now turn its attention to the 74th Annual NAIA Men's Golf National Championship, set for May 12–15 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.
