Surprise, Ariz. — The top-ranked OUAZ Beach Volleyball team continued its dominant run through GSAC play on Wednesday, earning a convincing 5–0 conference victory over GSAC foe La Sierra Eagles. The Spirit controlled the dual from start to finish, claiming all five flights in straight sets to remain unbeaten in conference competition.
OUAZ set the tone early in the No. 1 flight, where Maya Blake and Eliana Dean secured a decisive 21-11, 21-12 victory. In the No. 2 pairing, Shayna Martinez and Railey Dykstra followed with a strong performance, winning 21-14, 21-17. Olga Romero and Shea Marovich continued the momentum in flight three, earning a 21-12, 21-15 win. Alicia Romero and Katy Shockey dominated the No. 4 flight with a commanding 21-8, 21-13 result, while Mariella Ramos and Gabriele Corrales closed out the sweep in flight five, battling to a 21-10, 24-22 victory.
With the straight-set sweep, the Spirit added another GSAC win to their resume and continued to showcase depth and consistency across the lineup as conference play moves forward.
