The OUAZ men's basketball team lost on the road to The Master's University 84-68 in a game much closer than the score indicates. The two teams were nearly even throughout the final box score except where it counted most, the score.
 
Forward Bryce Fitzgerald led the Spirit (18-7, 7-4 GSAC) with 16 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Elijah Simmons had 11 points and five rebounds coming off the bench, while Jayce Catchings had 10 points.  McKay Bundy had nine points and 12 rebounds in a near double-double performance.
 
The Spirit will play at 10th-ranked Arizona Christian next Saturday before returning to Faith Arena to close out the regular season against Vanguard University (who are receiving votes in the NAIA National poll) on Thursday, February 22nd, and Hope International on Saturday, February 24.
