It took three overtimes, but OUAZ improved its win streak to six with an 87-86 win over Vanguard at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California. This marks the fourth overtime game this season (3-1 in such games) and is the longest game in school history.
McKay Bundy (21 points, 12 rebounds) and
Jayce Catchings (21 points, 10 rebounds) both posted double-doubles while
Jacob Henry had 11 points, and
Elijah Simmons chipped in 10 points.
Close throughout, the largest lead of the entire day was by OUAZ at seven points. There were 19 lead changes and 14 times the teams were tied.
