Box Score For the second consecutive Wednesday, the OUAZ men's basketball team went to overtime. This time they came out with the victory against SAGU-American Indian College, 69-68.
Jayce Cutchings led all scorers for the third time in six games, with 18 points.
Jacob Henry (15),
Elijah Simmons (14), and
McKay Bundy (13) also scored in double-figures.
OUAZ (5-2) will enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday and return to action next Thursday, Nov. 30 when Justice College comes to Faith Arena. It will open a three game homestand for the Spirit.
Game Notes:
- Eight of the nine players that played scored at least two points.
- All nine players grabbed at least one rebound.
- OUAZ had the edge on the boards, 43-29.
- SAGU-AIC had 60 shot attempts, only 15 inside the three-point arc.
