No. 3 Spirit Go 1-1 at GSAC Round Robin

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – The first day of the final GSAC round robin of the season saw No. 3 OUAZ beach volleyball split its two matches on Friday. OUAZ started the day by falling to No. 1 Vanguard 5-0 before picking up a 5-0 win over Hope International to end the day.

All five pairs lost to Vanguard 2-0.

In the win over Hope, the No. 1 pair of Katia Dizon & Kate Pestova earned a 21-14, 17-21, 15-9 decision. The Spirit got a 2-0 sweep from Noel Chavarria & Katie Defer and Mia Lara & Amanda Carlson on the No. 2 and No. 4 courts.

OUAZ will play another two duals on Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. against No. 2 The Master's and then at noon against Life Pacific.
