FULLERTON, Calif. – Playing their final road game of the season, the OUAZ men's basketball team fell to Hope International 90-69 in Golden State Athletic Conference action at Darling Pavilion.

While OUAZ (9-17, 4-12 GSAC) wasn't able to complete the season sweep of Hope International (18-10, 7-9), there was some Spirit history made as Dimetres Moore became the first player in program history to score 1,000 career points.

The milestone came with 11:01 to play in the second half when Moore scored his 18th points of the game. Moore achieved the mark in 72 games played at OUAZ. He ended the night with a team-best 23 points on 10 of 19 shooting with three rebounds and three assists.

OUAZ shot 46.2 percent as a team and they finished 4 of 24 from beyond the arc. HIU shot 54.4 percent with 12 made threes. Each team scored 28 point in the paint and the Royals had a 33-26 advantage in rebounds.
