The OUAZ men's soccer team entered Saturday on a three game winless streak. Despite the tough stretch, the Spirit came in ready to play in a win-and-you're-in situation.

The Spirit scored two goals in the first 11:14, and added two more in the second half on its way to a 4-0 victory over The Master's on Saturday. The win pushed OUAZ's conference record to 3-4-1.

Samuel George got the scoring started for the Spirit, as he scored his 13th of the season in the 5'. Hazem Sobhy struck in the 12' on an assist from George.

In the second half, Cristian Gennaro scored his 14th on a free kick, and Victor de la O put one home in the 65'. The Spirit had 17 shot attempts in the match (six on target).

The win secured OUAZ's place in the GSAC tournament. The Spirit will be the 5th seed, and will take on Hope International in Fullerton, Calif. The match on next Saturday, November 9, is scheduled for 1pm Arizona Time.
