Box Score REDLANDS, Calif. – The OUAZ men's basketball team completed its weekend at the Bulldog Tipoff Classic with a 95-89 loss to Cal Miramar in an exhibition game for the Spirit.
 
OUAZ shot 49.2 percent from the field while hitting on 9 of 23 from beyond the arc. They scored 40 points in the paint while grabbing 38 rebounds and recording 11 assists.
 
Dimetres Moore led the Spirit with 18 points by hitting 6 of 9 from the floor. Emeka Iheama and Elijah Simmons each scored 13 points off the bench. Leandro Amador and Brian King Jr. added 12 points apiece.
 
Tanner Riley led OUAZ with 13 rebounds and five assists.
 
Cal Miramar ended the night shooting 50 percent overall with seven 3-pointers. They converted 17 OUAZ turnovers into 20 points.
 
The Spirit will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Benedictine Mesa in the team's home opener. Tipoff from Willow Canyon High School is slated for 7 p.m.
