SURPRISE, Ariz. - The Ottawa University Arizona men's basketball team defeated Westcliff University on Saturday afternoon by a final of 82-72, inside of the Willow Canyon High School gym in Surprise.
With the victory Saturday, the Spirit improve to 10-12 on the year.
The Spirit returned home for the first time in 2018 and did not disappoint their fans. OUAZ defeated Westcliff University 82-72, to sweep the season series against the Warriors.
OUAZ shot 42% from the field and finished with 53 rebounds as a team.
Five players finished in double figure scoring for OUAZ, led by 
Ahmad Onezime's 15 points. 
Matthew McClain and 
Khalil Bailey both finished with double-doubles on Saturday. McClain finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds, while Bailey finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds. 
Next up for the Spirit is a road game at crosstown rival SAGU American Indian College in Phoenix. Tip time Monday February 5th is set for 7pm.
