SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Ottawa University Arizona men's basketball team closed out their three game weekend road trip on Saturday evening, with a 84-70 win at California Miramar University. This was the third straight win for the OUAZ Spirit.
With the victory, the Spirit improve to 7-12 overall on the season.
"This was a really productive trip for us," said OUAZ head men's basketball coach 
Matt Keeley. "We had multiple guys contribute, we had to battle through some injuries, and play through some adverse road conditions. We still have multiple ways to improve, but I am really proud of this group."
The Spirit faired well against California-Miramar, shooting 46% from the field for the game, and 70% from the free-throw line.
In the victory, five players scored in double-figures for the Spirit, led by 
Marcus Williams' 17 points. 
Matthew McClain finished with an impressive 16 points and 17 rebounds, while 
Khalil Bailey chimed in with a double-double of his own at 15 points and 10 rebounds.
