Spirit Strength Center

The OUAZ Strength and Conditioning Center Opened in November of 2019, it is located in the southwest corner, on the first floor of the O’Dell Center. The 5,000-square-foot room serves all 26 OUAZ teams and is the crown jewel of the of the OUAZ training regime (self-proclaimed by designer/Head Strength Coach Cody Hodgeson). The weight room is highlighted by 12 combination racks and 8 Frankenhypers built by Sorinex. The flooring, built by PLAE, has 12 Olympic platforms built into the ground for a level surface, providing a safer workout environment, and a brand new dumbbell station.

The complex also includes Kettlebells, Battle Ropes and Resistance Bands from Kettlebell Kings and stability balls, medicine balls, coaches’ office, and a state-of-the-art video and stereo system.
